Armor
Armor Guide
Armor in Grounded is a set bonus and a repair bill. Wear the set that matches today’s trip. Do not hoard a ladybug chest in a basket while you die in clover.
Early sets that are worth the fiber
Clover is cheap and fine for the first two days. Acorn is the first set that lets you take a soldier ant hit and stay standing. Red ant armor helps with hauling when you are moving planks and quartzite.
Upgrade along sleek, bulky, or plump when you can. Bulky is the simple pick while you learn fights. Sleek helps when you already dodge well. Repair at the workbench before you leave. Broken acorn is just a costume.
Mid and late sets tied to real jobs
Ladybug is the mid-game workhorse. Black ant covers haze-side roaming. Koi scale is for pond days and breath. Fire ant and widow pieces belong to the upper yard and late mutations. Roly poly is the heavy “I will stand here” option.
Match armor to the combat plan. A Fresh club plus ladybug is a ladybug farm. A needle plus koi scale is a pond farm. Mixing random pieces usually loses the set bonus you wanted.
Build a spare set at the base so a death does not send you out naked. Chests next to the bed beat fashion piles in a distant outpost.
When information tools beat another upgrade
Sometimes the next armor farm is through a spider nest you cannot see. Insect ESP and resource ESP on Features make that walk honest. You still craft the set. You just stop dying on the commute.
Part lists follow the live game on Grounded. If a set renamed after an update, trust the analyzer, not an old screenshot.
