Milk Molar Guide

Milk Molars are the quiet power spike in Grounded. Break them, bank them, and spend them on health, stamina, and mutation slots instead of leaving them in a cave.

What Milk Molars are for

Normal Milk Molars feed the ASL terminal upgrades: max health, stamina, hunger, thirst, and heal amount. Mega Milk Molars unlock extra mutation slots. That second list is why late-game kits feel different even on the same armor.

You need a hammer. The insect hammer from red ants is the first one that reliably cracks them. Better hammers just finish the swing faster. Bring a smoothie. Several molars sit next to water, gas, or a spider nest.

Grounded hacks can mark Milk Molars the same way they mark quartzite. If your overlay supports it, leave that filter on during cave trips and turn it off in a clean base. Details live on Features.

Where players miss them

Check oak roots, the pond floor, hedge tunnels, both anthills, the trash heap, the sandbox, and the picnic table. Upper-yard juice boxes and shed corners hide later ones. Labs often park a molar behind a story door you already opened.

Scan ceilings. A lot of people loot the floor and walk out under a glowing rock. Our resource locations habits work here too: one biome per trip, empty bag, then home.

Patch notes on Grounded sometimes move interactables after a lab refresh. If a guide screenshot looks wrong, trust the live backyard.

How to spend them without wasting the spike

Put early points into health and stamina. Hunger and thirst matter once you roam the hedge and pond in one loop. Save Mega Milk Molars for mutation slots you will actually equip, not a sixth perk you forget to swap.

New players should finish the beginner survival guide before a full molar tour. You still need water and a hammer. FAQ covers product questions if you are using overlays on Windows PC.
