Backyard Survival Tips
The backyard punishes sloppy routines more than weak weapons. These Grounded tips are the small habits that keep water, light, and an exit in your pocket.
Daily meters that end runs
Drink before you leave. Eat at the door, not after the first fight. Sleep through wolf-spider night until you have mid armor. A canteen and a lean-to prevent more deaths than a rare dagger.
Pack bandages or a smoothie every trip. Mark field stations so “I will analyze later” does not mean a lost recipe on a corpse. Repair tools at home. A dull axe turns a plank run into a night walk.
The beginner guide is the longer version of this checklist. Come back here when you already know the oak and still keep dying to thirst.
Biome rules: haze, pond, hedge, upper yard
Haze needs a gas mask. The pond needs breath gear and a plan to surface. The hedge needs vertical patience and berry bags. The upper yard needs Fresh answers and respect for bees.
Do not mix all four in one evening. Pick a job. Our resource locations page is the shopping list. This page is the “come home” list.
Resource ESP and insect ESP help you see dew, gas edges, and patrols through grass. Use them to choose a path, then put the screen clutter down when you are inside your own walls.
A calm close to the night
Empty junk at the base. Cook. Park weapons on a rack you can see. If you play with friends, say who is holding the only gas mask. Player bases get messy fast when nobody owns the storage rules.
The game itself is Grounded from Obsidian Entertainment, also listed on Grounded on Steam and Grounded on Xbox. Guides here stay short on purpose.
